Acrylic/ Polycarbonate Lightbox

Acrylic / Polycarbonate Lightbox

Structure and Materials:

Made using a box-shaped aluminum frame with a translucent acrylic or polycarbonate front face. Internal lighting is provided by LED modules or fluorescent tubes.

Face Panel Options:

Acrylic: Offers good clarity, smooth finish, and sharp printed visuals.

Polycarbonate: Stronger impact resistance, suitable for environments exposed to weather or vandalism.

Lighting System:

LED backlighting provides even brightness across the face, energy efficiency, and long lifespan (typically 30,000–50,000 hours). Older models may use fluorescent tubes.

Graphics Application:

Text and logos are applied using UV-printed graphics or vinyl sticker overlays on the face panel. Opaque and translucent layers are often combined to control light flow.

Weather Resistance:

Designed for outdoor use with water-resistant sealing and UV-resistant materials to prevent yellowing or fading.

Applications:

Commonly used as shopfront signage, roadside signs, directional signs, building identification panels, and 24-hour brand visibility.

Installation:

Wall-mounted, ceiling-hung, or pole-mounted depending on the location. Wiring is concealed for a clean appearance.

Maintenance:

Front panel can be removed for access to internal lighting. Cleaning with mild soap and soft cloth is recommended to maintain clarity and brightness.

Customisation:

Available in single-sided or double-sided formats, various sizes, color options, brightness levels, and face designs.

Compliance:

Can be made to meet electrical safety and outdoor signage standards required by local authorities.
